Once again I buy a product because of it's packaging I've got to say for L'Oréal it's a bit more fancy than their usual products. It claims it is a correcting cream that makes pores 'undetectable' and improves skin quality whilst hydrating. This retails at £14.99 at Boots however I bought it from Amazon for £5.00.
The first thing I noticed when I opened it was the smell. The smell is very off putting, it isn't fruity or floral or anything I could explain. It is very strange however I still went ahead and tried it. When I first applied it I noticed the texture was thick, when it was on my face however it felt similar to that of Benefit Porefssional, the slightly silicone feel. It does hydrate and does the job any other moisturiser would, just feels very weird. As for the correcting part, my pores are still very visible. My face does feel smoother than usual though and it leaves no oily residue. Maybe if I do use the product for longer my complexion will change, but for now (used it for a week) there is no real difference.
I am just glad I did not pay the full retail price, but for the price I paid it is great for an everyday moisturiser, despite the smell.
Thank you for reading, what's your favourite moisturiser? ♥
(also looking for some feedback, are short and sweet reviews with big pictures or long informative reviews better?)
